The Challenge
Piedmont Eastern Litigation is a family law firm in Cary, North Carolina. They’re good at what they do, but when I came on, nobody could tell. They had almost no marketing strategy, a weak digital presence, and no clear brand positioning in a market where trust and credibility are everything. The challenge wasn’t just visibility. It was clarity, helping them define who they are, communicate it effectively, and build a marketing engine that consistently turns that clarity into clients.
The Approach
I started with positioning. In legal services, people choose a firm based on trust before they ever pick up the phone. So the first move was defining Piedmont Eastern Litigation’s brand identity as a boutique family law practice, approachable, credible, and clearly different from the big impersonal firms in the area.
From there, I redesigned their website with a focus on user experience and conversion: clearer messaging, new copywriting, and integrated online booking so potential clients could take action without friction. Then I built an organic growth strategy to improve their search visibility, and mapped out a long-term roadmap including SEO improvements and Google Local Search Ads to drive targeted traffic.
