Overview
Blue Iris Farm, located in Lebanon, Connecticut, is a 114-acre sanctuary dedicated to rescuing farm animals and providing a peaceful retreat for those seeking a connection with nature. Since 2019, I’ve worked closely with Blue Iris Farm to shape their brand, establish their digital presence, and create sustainable fundraising strategies that align with their mission of healing and care.
Solution
From the start, I helped Blue Iris Farm craft a clear and compelling brand identity that reflects their mission of rescue and retreat. I designed a new website with integrated CRM systems to streamline donor management and foster stronger relationships with supporters. I also built and executed email marketing campaigns and set up a fundraising system to support their growing needs. In addition, I created several key programs, such as the Iris Pen Pal Program, Iris Piggy Bank, and the Corporate Sponsorship initiative, to increase engagement and donations. Beyond this, I led the development of their social media strategy and established various visit packages, retreats, and event programs to further boost their visibility and engagement.
Results
Through these efforts, Blue Iris Farm has experienced a 400% return on their investment. The farm has successfully expanded its reach, significantly increasing donations and participation in programs. Blue Iris continues to thrive, not only as a farm animal rescue but also as a retreat center, offering unique experiences that attract both new supporters and long-term advocates.
